Mountain Mist Fiberworks is the creative outlet for Rebecca Harmon, a fiber artist who enjoys designing and making knitted, crocheted, handwoven, braided, felted, and tatted products from commercially spun yarns and/or from handspun yarns (Rebecca and her husband are both spinners). Rebecca enjoys learning and developing new techniques, and this keeps her designs fresh and challenging. Some Mountain Mist products are one-of-a-kind pieces, and others are created multiple times to meet the demand for popular products.
Rebecca Harmon has been an active producing designer for over 25 years. Learning crochet and knitting from her grandmother, she started honing her art at an early age. Along the way she has added weaving, felting, spinning, beading and many other skills to her tool kit.
Rebecca takes much of her inspiration from nature and enjoys working in a variety of mediums.
Rebecca has recently added photography to her skill sets. You can see her work at www.fineartamerica.com/profiles/1-rebecca-harmon.
Her studio is located in Tualatin Oregon. Visit her Blog at www.thefiberbug.blogspot.com.
